Accessory: Conical Ligature-Resistant Showerhead
This option provides for ligature and vandal-resistant conical showerheads. The spray pattern is a non-adjustable multi-stream style. The conical head, fabricated of high-polished chrome-plated brass, prevents the use of it as a suicide device. As an accessory to SV16 shower valves, the showerhead is provided with a stainless steel anchor plate and escutcheon. Screws mounting the escutcheon are provided. Others should supply screws mounting the anchor plate to the wall.
The showerhead is available rated with a flow of 1.5 gallons (5.7 liters) per minute. This flow rate is compliant with California conservation regulations.
Also available is a showerhead rated with a flow of 2.5 gallons (9.5 liters) per minute. Since July 1, 2018, due to water conservation regulations, this version has no longer been available for use in the state of California.
