Master Mixing Valves (ASSE 1017)

Master Mixing Valves combine hot water from the water heater with cold water to the appropriate temperature for the Hot Water Distribution System. Acorn ConTrols® Hi-Low Thermostatic Master Mixing Valves exceed the requirements set forth in ASSE 1017.

This category also includes pre-assembled fixtures and digital systems based on master mixing valves. Supply fixtures (SFMV and SFMMV) come assembled with everything required to ensure proper installation, set-up, service and troubleshooting. Command Station® fixtures (CSMV) are self-contained tempering and recirculating systems designed to reduce and/or eliminate the potential for improper piping, missed connections and/or components that are critical to the performance of the facility’s hot water systems. Acorn BASyC® (ABMV) is a system that provides distributed control and monitoring of mixing valves and a wide variety of temperature, pressure and flow sensors for recirculated hot water systems.
